Both Captains (Ron and Patrick) played great and were determined to take home the hardware. The Saturday game day must suit the Plumber or he had some pre-game rum because in the early going he looked invincible. First period was 0-0, very un-Buck like. The second period was also a close checking affair and was 1-1. In the third the Blue's finally found some leaks in the Plumbers armour ending with a third period score of 2-0. The victory is slightly tainted since the Blues were short players and had to force a Blue Jersey onto Buzz and the Blues also had a spare, Adam in the line up. By the end of the evening at Chianti's, in the usual Buck fashion, all players were claiming victory and could hardly remember which team they played for.

This game was our best turn out of the year but it was also a bit messy with a number of injuries, Glen W. dislocated(?) his shoulder, Glen C. took a spill into the end boards and Patrick pulled his groin early in the game so Uncle Marc stepped up and changed into the goalie equipment.
